A plan to tackle the virus has been agreed and people should carry on as usual, the PM says.
The number of coronavirus cases in the UK has jumped to 51 as Boris Johnson unveiled his battle plan to deal with the outbreak. As Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced 12 more UK cases, the Government's plan to tackle Covid-19 suggested that the outbreak could lead to a fifth of workers being absent. It could also cause the police to drop low-priority cases and force the NHS to delay non-urgent care .
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the public must "make up their own minds" about the greeting, adding that washing hands is "the crucial thing."
The United Kingdom's top political leader appears unfazed at the prospect of catching the COVID-19 virus.
