First coronavirus death reported in Thailand

Thailand reported its first death Sunday of a patient infected with coronavirus. The 35-year-old patient had first been admitted to a private hospital for dengue fever on Jan. 27 and was later diagnosed with coronavirus and transferred on Feb. 5 to the government's main treatment center, Reuters reported, citing Suwanchai Wattanayingcharoen, director-general of the Department of Disease Control.
